A few things about Sandy…
- I am obsessed with horror films and have been ever since my older cousins forced me to watch Child’s Play at the age of 4.
- I fell in love with Christopher Mintz Plasse aka McLovin from Superbad when he dropped me an LL Cool J inspired freestyle in a posh London hotel in 2009.
- I have made my family watch Home Alone every Christmas since 1990 (it’s fair to say that it is now a festive tradition).
- I have an unhealthy obsession with Coming To America – I’ve lost count of the amount times that I’ve watched it.
- I studied Film, Culture and Society at The University of Birmingham and did my dissertation on the representation of women in The Color Purple.
- I used to take UK music artists to the cinema every week to watch the latest films including; Tinie Tempah, Jay Sean, Taio Cruz, Chipmunk, Wretch 32 and more.
- In August 2011, 50 Cent’s former DJ, DJ Whoo Kid and Tinie Tempah featured me and Russell Brand on their international mixtape The Foreign Object.
